Why was Nigerian National Anthem changed?

I’m just curious if anybody knows, or did follow the story well. What was the main motivation for changing the Nigerian National Anthem from ‘Arise O Compatriots’ to ‘Nigeria We Hail Thee’?

I don’t know the actual reason behind the change, and I failed to see it’s significance.
